Balsamic Shredded Beef
Here's a quick, easy, super delicious beef recipe to add to your crockpot rotation. That's all I'm going to say. Pick your jaw up off the floor, and have a great day.
Balsamic Shredded Beef
-from thrivinghomeblog.com
- 3 to 4 pound boneless roast beef (chuck or round roast)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (this does not make the dish spicy)
Place beef in crockpot. Whisk all other ingredients together in a bowl and pour over beef. Cook on low for 8 hrs. Shred meat and serve top with sauce from the crockpot, over mashed potatoes or noodles. I strained the sauce into a pan and thickened it to a gravy consistency with some cornstarch/water. It's not necessary.
