Herbed Port Pot Roast

3 lb chuck roast
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. port or apple juice (I have always just used apple juice)
8 oz can tomato sauce
3 T. quick cooking tapioca (it's in the baking aisle)
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 t. dried thyme
1 t. dried oregano
2 cloves minced garlic.
Place meat in cooker. In a small bowl combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cook on low for 8-10 hrs or high 4-5. Slice roast and serve atop hot buttered egg noodles or mashed potatoes. Drizzle with sauce.
