Nutella Puppy Chow

It is true that I do not usually like puppy chow. This is because I think chocolate and peanut butter are a mostly horrible combination (I realize 99% of people find that statement truly appalling). I pinned a Nutella puppy chow recipe on Pinterest awhile ago, but when I went to look it up last week the link was broken. So, I searched around and found quite a few variations. I read several and came up with this one. It did not disappoint this Nutella lover.

• 1 box Crispix cereal (12 oz)
• 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
• 1 stick of butter (please use real butter, ok?)
• 1 c. Nutella
• 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar (you could use more, but I like a darker chocolate flavor)

Melt butter and chocolate chips together over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in Nutella. Pour mixture over the cereal in a large bowl and toss until well coated. It will look like one big clumpy disaster, and you will be tempted to dump it all out and start over. Don't do that. Just keep at it and it will all work out in the end. Okey dokey? Divide the mix between 2 gallon-sized Ziplock bags. Pour 1/2-3/4 c. powdered sugar in each, seal, and shake. Repeat process with more sugar if you'd like. Pour into a serving dish and watch it disappear.
