Vitamin C Brew
Sunday afternoon my husband and I sat on our deck and enjoyed a cold brew as our kids played in the sprinkler. I just so happened to also be flipping through the most recent issue of Bon Appetit, and as we finished our beers I saw a recipe for a "Vitamin C Brew" cocktail. I scanned the ingredients--all were in stock. It was early in the evening and the discovery felt serendipitous. I ran inside to mix up the cocktail and we enjoyed this refreshing beverage.

-from Bon Appetit, July 2014
For 2 drinks:
Combine
-1/2 cup fresh orange juice
-1/4 cup gin (please make it Hendricks)
Divide between 2 pint glasses filled with ice and top off with an American Style lager (basically any light beer you fancy). We only had New Glarus Spotted Cow and it was great. You will need 1 bottle of beer to split between the two glasses. Stir and serve with an orange wedge.
