Garlic and Herb Butter Spread
I am so sorry I made this. Not because it isn't good. In fact, it's beyond fabulous--and therein lies the problem. I want to heap it in mounds atop anything that will stand still. If you want to bring your A game to some bread, here is your strategy. Slather this spread across some warm bread or crackers and serve it with piping hot soup and you are winning at life. Just trust me on this one.

- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup butter (2 sticks), softened
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon thyme
- 1/8 teaspoon basil
- 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Whip cream cheese and butter together with a mixer until well combined and fluffy, then add spices and mix again. Chill. When it's time to serve take it out of the fridge a bit early so it softens nicely.
